Running for Congress With The Stars!

Guess which 20 year-old unwed mom just bought a foreclosed, 5-bedroom house in Maricopa, Arizona?  None other than reality show loser Bristol Palin.  Maricopa is a dusty, depressed little place, far south of Phoenix.  Why on earth would a single young woman buy property there? A Wonkette operative has an idea:

"Maricopa is a half-empty town south of Phoenix. Most of the homes are either in foreclosure or heading in that direction. That’s why she could buy a 5 bedroom house for $172,000.


But guess what? Arizona will get a new, 9th Congressional District thanks to the new census. Most observers think Maricopa will end up smack-dab in the middle of this new district.


Bristol for Congress!"

Think I’m joking. I live in the 3rd Congressional District, represented by none other than Ben Quayle!"

Ben Quayle may be an apparent douchebag, but he holds degrees from Duke and Vanderbilt and was a successful attorney before running for Congress.  Bristol "graduated" from high school in time to pose for the cover of People Magazine in her cap and gown.
