Jeremy Bloom Biography
Born on April 2, 1982, in Fort Collins, Colorado, Jeremy Ryan Bloom was an avid skier even as a child, along with his older brother Jordan and his older sister Molly.

His father, Larry, is a psychology professor, and his mother Char is a fly-fishing and ski instructor at Keystone Resort, which leaves no mystery as to where Jeremy inherited his ski gene, especially considering he put on a pair of skis at age 3.

Growing up, Bloom attended Loveland High School, where he became the star football player on the team and a track state champion, no less.

Jeremy Bloom becomes pro skier

In 1997, when he was only 15 years of age, Bloom joined the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team and, four years later, Jeremy Bloom had already become the number one ranked men’s freestyle skier in the world.

Bloom attended the University of Colorado in 2002, where he became a very successful wide receiver and punt returner for the NCAA’s Buffs and was offered a 5-year contract to play for the team.

When he competed at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games at Salt Lake City, he placed only ninth overall, but he did come in first at the 2002 U.S. Nationals. It was during this time that the Olympics aired a special on MTV.

Jeremy Bloom gets cut from the U of Colorado team

Because of his athleticism and sheer attractiveness, Bloom was offered a job as a model for Tommy Hilfiger jeans. He quickly snatched up the offer but, unfortunately for him, Bloom was not eligible to keep his positions as wide receiver and punt returner for the University of Colorado’s football team because he began doing endorsements as an Olympian.

A long, bitter legal battle ensued and Bloom lost his case in 2004, as the NCAA regulations were made clear to Bloom before he accepted any endorsement deals, despite the fact that his deals were earned in non-NCAA sports.

After heading home from the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin, Italy, without a medal to show, Bloom was nevertheless excited to return home for the pending NFL draft. Lucky for him, Bloom was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles on July 11, 2006, even though he hasn’t played football since 2003.

Jeremy dating Cameron Eubanks

Bloom signed a four-year, $1.782 million dollar contract that includes a $172,000 signing bonus and minimum base salary for each year played.

Bloom, who is currently dating Real World: San Diego’s Cameran Eubanks, plans to become the next big thing in football, next to the Super Bowl, of course.
