Chief minister Ashok Gehlot presented Rajasthan state Budget 2010 in Assembly.

Chief minister Ashok Gehlot, who also holds the finance portfolio today presents state’s budget for the financial year 2010-2011 in the Rajasthan assembly. Presenting the budget for the second time in his second tenure, Ashok Gehlot today focus primarily on development of state even general man didn’t get any relief from inflation.

Rajasthan Budget Highlights

1. Cheaper: Movie in theater, Solar equipments, Marble, Rudraksha, Food in hotel and restaurant, Two wheeler (Below 100 cc).
2. Costly: Four wheeler (Above 2.5 Lakh), Two wheeler (More than 100 cc), Urban Electricity
3. 400 Crore alloted for Urban development in State.
4. 777 Crore for water supply schemes and 12 crore for drinking water
5. AICTE based payment for Polytechnic colleges lectures
6. Three Crore for woman hostels development in state.
7. Ration for BPL Families at 2 Rs/Kg
8. Pay of NAREGA Sahayak increased to 3500 from 2500
9. Increase in pension for Old persons(750 Rs for 75 Year and more while 500 for below 75 year age)
10. Increase in Pay of Nurses, MNS and Lab technicians.
11. Free medical facility to windows, pensioners and handicapped people and buying of 150 ambulances to strengthen medical facilities.
12. 65000 agricultural connections.
13. 11424 Crore for energy development.
14. 1851 crore for Road development
15.Five new ITI for minorities and 2 crore for Madarasa’s
16. New urban development authority for state.
17. Trauma center for Jalor, rajsamand and dausa
18. Payment for technician will be 5500 from 3000
19. ST/SC hostel will be increased to 50 from 25 in state.

I was shocked to learn that 27 million people around the world are enslaved today. As I began to research and understand the extent of modern slavery, I knew that I had to make a movie about it. People had to know. This injustice and cruelty had to stop.

Kavi will be my USC thesis film. Its a 15-minute fictional film about a young boy who attempts to lead his family out of their bondage in a brick kiln. Kavi will be the first fictional film of its kind to expose the reality of bonded labor,

गेली १५ वर्षांपासून बुलढाण्याच्या प्रा. डॉ. स्मिता देशमुख या 'मी जिजाऊ बोलतेय...' या एकपात्री नाटकाचा प्रयोग करत आहेत. फेब्रुवारी अखेरीस चित्रपटाच्या चित्रीकरणाला सुरुवात होणार असून पहिले सत्र फलटनच्या वाडयात तर दुसरे भोरच्या वाडयात होईल. बाबासाहेब सौदागर यांनी लिहिलेल्या, शशांक पोवर यांनी संगीतबद्ध केलेली कैलाश खेर आणि सुरेश वाडकर यांच्या आवाजातली गाणी रेकॉर्ड झाली आहेत. मदन पाटील यांच्या जिजाऊ साहेब कादंबरीवर आधारीत या चित्रपटाची पटकथा आणि संवाद प्रताप गंगावणे यांनी लिहीले आहेत. चित्रपटासाठी नितीन देसाई यांनी कला दिग्दर्शन केले आहे. कार्यकारी निर्मात्याची जबाबदारी राहूल खंडारे यांच्याकडे असून प्रसिद्धीची सूत्रे भूपेंद्रकुमार नंदन करत आहेत.

'फाउंटन म्युझिक' निर्मित या अल्बममध्ये कवी विंदा करंदीकर, वा. रा. कांत, सुरेश भट, शांता शेळके यांच्या रचनांचा समावेश आहे. यात भावगीतांसह गझल, रोमॅटिक गीते आहेत. या गीतांचे ध्वनीमुद्रण करताना सारंगी, सतार, बासरी आणि व्हायोलिन या वाद्यांचा वापर करण्यात आला आहे.

Bollywood villain Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shraddha has reportedly completed work in a film called Teen Patti alongside none other than Amitabh Bachchan himself.

The film, to be directed by Shabd helmer Leena Yadav, is said to be a take on 21 featuring Bachchan in Kevin Spacey’s role as a professor tutoring kids in high-stake gambling.

I grew up in an atmosphere where I saw my father leaving early for work, having odd hours and then to see the difference between him on-screen and the way he was off-screen. I found the whole process of becoming someone else fascinating!”,she says

At 21, Shraddha has four years of theatre expertise behind her, and was also part of a dance troupe at Boston University. Besides, she’s honed her histrionics under the famed tutelage of Barry John.

Her father’s name might help her to an extent but after that, it’s her talent that would have to speak and Shraddha’s aware of that. “I am ambitious. I like to think and dream about the future,” she says. Considering the competition that lies ahead, would she be able to pitch in her best? Would she, for example, wear a bikini if the role requires it? “Nobody’s made that proposition yet, so I’ll consider that when it happens,” she says. Okay, but does she consider herself sexy? “Sexy?” she asks with a laugh, “We’ll let the audience decide that. Sexy’s not the way I would define myself. Moderately reserved, a little shy and very curious. But sexy? Nah!”

MLA Does A Poll Dance With Bar Girls In His Flat

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar faced some embarrassing moments over the weekend, thanks to a party colleague. On Saturday night, Jiradei MLA Shyam Bahadur Singh was found dancing with bar girls in his flat. The dance was supposed to entertain voters from his constituency who had come to attend Nitish's Mahadalit rally. And on Sunday, Assembly Speaker Uday Narain Choudhary, despite holding a constitutional post, addressed the Mahadalit rally organised by the NDA at Gandhi Maidan here. While Singh apologised, Choudhary maintained that it was his "greatest constitutional duty to address my people". The incidents gave enough reason for the Opposition to point finger towards Nitish. The CM and his ministers, on the other hand, said the rally was an indication of a new constituency for the JD(U) in the forthcoming Assembly polls.

Addressing the rally, Nitish said: "People (read RJD and LJP leaders) will try to misguide you. But this is the rally of the last man standing in the queue of socio-economic ladder." He added that he will not say which party they should vote for. "But when elections come, turn up at the polling booths in large numbers to realise your power," he said, reminding them of the special benefits the NDA government has provided them. He exhorted nomads to settle down, promising them government land. Urging men to quit drinking, he said the government will give money for children's school uniforms and radio sets to women, as he feared men will spend the money on alcohol.

Choudhary, MLA from Imamganj (Gaya) who presided over the function, had a heated argument with colleague Shyam Rajak over occupying a chair. Rajak left the venue and had to be coaxed to come back to the rally.

The Opposition targeted both Singh and Choudhary, saying that the MLA had crossed "decency limits" and the Speaker seemed to have forgotten about his constitutional post.

Senior Congress leader Premchand Mishra said: "When the Congress put Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar's name by mistake in Pradesh Congress Committee list, there was lot of hue and cry. What will Nitish Kumar say about the Assembly Speaker attending a political rally?." About Singh dancing with bar girls, Mishra said the JD(U) is replicating RJD culture of indulging in cheap gimmicks.

On Tuesday afternoon Katrina along with her ‘Rajneeti’ co-stars Arjun Rampal and Manoj Tiwari flew into Patna in a private jet hired by Prakash Jha. They headed straight from the airport to Jha’s residence in the suburbs. The reason was the inauguration of her director Prakash Jha’s news channel at Patna’s Shri Krishna Memorial Auditorium amidst other big names like Manoj Tiwari and Bihar’s chief minister Nitish Kumar.

Katrina’s presence on the stage made the crowd nostalgic. Even Nitish Kumar had to admit that his presence was not required with Katrina around.

Katrina, Arjun and Manoj flew back to Mumbai late Tuesday night. Prakash Jha intends to hold the premiere of ‘Rajneeti’ in Patna instead of Mumbai.

After Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu too has come out with her fitness DVD titled ‘BB Love Yourself’. The first release from Bips will be Fit & Fabulous, a do-it-yourself DVD devised for a 25-minute workout which promises to cut fat and tone up muscles.

Fitness is what Bipasha believes in and the entire concept of this DVD is hers inspired by this belief in health and fitness. “Films, fitness and fashion are my passions,” she says, “this is the first time that I will be doing something professional for the latter two. The focus is on health, and it has a scientific approach.”

They created a picture perfect pair as Vidya dazzled in a rust colored saree from Sabyasachi. Abhishek Chaubey, who makes a directorial debut with this movie was also present at the premiere.

The premiere of ‘Rann’ was held in Delhi and Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan joined in to usher their best wishes to their “paa” Amitabh Bachchan at the premiere.
