Honest, hardworking and a loyal clerk Subramanium (Nana Patekar) is given the pink slip by his boss (Mohnish Behl). He ends up quarrelling with Dilshaad at a departmental store. Later he also ends up confiscating her grand son's bicycle for spoiling his dead mother's photographs. But eventually he too ends up striking a friendship with Dilshaad and becomes a regular at her café too. But threat comes to the popular cafe from Amit's company Blue Bell which is desperate to open its coffee chain at that place.

Working together after over 16 years, Nana and Dimple are a delight to watch. Nana is hilarious and poignant at the same time. Dimple's performance makes us want to see more of her in movies. Sunil Shetty tries hard but hardly impresses.

Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has challenged the public to watch his upcoming horror film ‘Phoonk 2′ alone in a theatre, promising a cash prize to the person who manages to do so. Varma threw the challenge while promoting his film in India’s showbiz capital Mumbai in the western state of Maharashtra on February 22. Varma said he would award five lakh rupees to the one who would be able to finish watching the film all by himself or herself.

The film tells the story of an evil spirit ruining the peace of a family that has shifted to a new town.

MLA Does A Poll Dance With Bar Girls In His Flat

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar faced some embarrassing moments over the weekend, thanks to a party colleague. On Saturday night, Jiradei MLA Shyam Bahadur Singh was found dancing with bar girls in his flat. The dance was supposed to entertain voters from his constituency who had come to attend Nitish's Mahadalit rally. And on Sunday, Assembly Speaker Uday Narain Choudhary, despite holding a constitutional post, addressed the Mahadalit rally organised by the NDA at Gandhi Maidan here. While Singh apologised, Choudhary maintained that it was his "greatest constitutional duty to address my people". The incidents gave enough reason for the Opposition to point finger towards Nitish. The CM and his ministers, on the other hand, said the rally was an indication of a new constituency for the JD(U) in the forthcoming Assembly polls.

Addressing the rally, Nitish said: "People (read RJD and LJP leaders) will try to misguide you. But this is the rally of the last man standing in the queue of socio-economic ladder." He added that he will not say which party they should vote for. "But when elections come, turn up at the polling booths in large numbers to realise your power," he said, reminding them of the special benefits the NDA government has provided them. He exhorted nomads to settle down, promising them government land. Urging men to quit drinking, he said the government will give money for children's school uniforms and radio sets to women, as he feared men will spend the money on alcohol.

Choudhary, MLA from Imamganj (Gaya) who presided over the function, had a heated argument with colleague Shyam Rajak over occupying a chair. Rajak left the venue and had to be coaxed to come back to the rally.

The Opposition targeted both Singh and Choudhary, saying that the MLA had crossed "decency limits" and the Speaker seemed to have forgotten about his constitutional post.

Senior Congress leader Premchand Mishra said: "When the Congress put Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar's name by mistake in Pradesh Congress Committee list, there was lot of hue and cry. What will Nitish Kumar say about the Assembly Speaker attending a political rally?." About Singh dancing with bar girls, Mishra said the JD(U) is replicating RJD culture of indulging in cheap gimmicks.

PHOONK 2 is the sequel of movie Phoonk. Phoonk 2 will begin with Ashwini Kalsekar's ghost killing the tantrik (Zakir Hussain) at the very start and entering Sudeep's wife's (Amruta Khanvilkar) body.

Ram Gopal Varma believes Phoonk 2 is scarier than Phoonk and debutant director Milind Gadagkar is thrilled with the compliment. Not only does he promise a spine-chilling fare, he also wouldn't mind doing a third instalment of the spooky flick.

Yes, I have left the ending of Phoonk 2 open for another in the series. I am not ruling out the possibility and it would be interesting to see how audiences react to Phoonk 2. There were some positive reactions after people saw 'Phoonk'.

Milind was the writer of Phoonk but he had a different vision about the horror thriller tale he wanted to tell as compared to the way Varma had translated it on screen.

And so he came up with the idea of a sequel. Ever ready to encourage new filmmakers to test their vision, Varma asked Milind to helm the project himself and direct Phoonk 2.

Phoonk 2, which is complete and ready for release, takes off from exactly the same point where Phoonk left.

It's not just the characters but even the actors playing their roles are the same in Phoonk 2, said Milind.
