Hello beauties! Today I am wearing a very simple outfit: red vintage blazer, white oversized tee and blue stretchy pants, so these are the colors of both French and Dutch flags. According to Ancient and Heraldic traditions, the colors of the Dutch flag represent the following:
White - peace and honesty;
Red - hardiness, bravery, strenght and valour;
Blue - vigilance, truth and loyalty, perseverance and justice;
Now, the Dutch flag is the same colours as the French flag, but with the stripes running horizontally, red at the top and blue at the bottom. While in the French flag the blue band is positioned nearest the flag-staff, the white in the middle, and the red on the outside.Red, white and blue have come to represent liberty, equality and fraternity - the ideals of the French Revolution. Maybe this description is a little bit boring, but it's only a joke: what am I wearing, the French or the Dutch flag? ;)
