What if They Gave a Republican Debate and Nobody Came?

Next Thursday, the first GOP debate of the 2012 Presidential election will be held in the oh so important first Southern primary state of South Carolina...and nobody has committed to attending.  Nobody.  It's next week and nobody has confirmed their attendance.  It's to be shown on Fox "News," so set your DVRs for what could turn out to be dead air or a travelogue of Greenville hot spots.  They've T-Paw, Newt, Herman Cain, Frothy Mix, and Ron Paul have "expressed interest" in attending.  "Expressed interest?"  How insulting.  They're doing better than Michele Bachmann who has said she "may" make an appearance.  Mittens, Queen Esther, The Huckster, and The Donald haven't responded at all.  These Yankees (and I mean you, Newt) don't understand the South.  If my mother had issued the invitation, they would all be stricken from the social register for such rudeness.  AC may be my only reader who truly understands this.
